Cheap, Copied, Tainted?
The aim of this project is to examine the true perceptions of brand China within the age group of 21-35. Their opinions are worth examining because they are the current generation of consumers driving the Chinese economy.
What associations are made when we see a ‘made-in-china’ label today compared to the past? Are they about low costs, hazardous materials and piracy/counterfeiting or have these perceptions been replaced by other more modern ideas? I created two final outcomes for this project, click to view 1.Book design or 2.Installation art.
